Hello my name is Harley David Keller. I am 14 years old and in ninth grade. Just two in a half years ago I move from Wasilla Alaska to Galena. This place is a small village that's about 250 miles from Anchorage. The population is about 600 and there is no paved roads. we have no restaurants and no shopping stores. I came here to get a better education and also because there were better paying jobs for my parents here.

I have lived in Alaska for about 6 years and have loved every day of it because it is so beautiful. The different places in Alaska that I have been to are Anchorage, Fairbanks, Wasilla, Big Lake, Palmer, Eagle, Koyukuk, Nalato, Ruby, Eagle River, Seward, and Galena.

I like to play basketball, football, and soccer. I also like to go four wheeling and snow machining. Four wheelers, snow machines, and cars are the main transportation in Galena, you can not survive without them.

I go to School at Galena City School. The teachers are very nice and very lenient, and can give you a very good education. There is about 10-14 students in every class.
