This page will cover what things I
like to do and a little bit about my background.
Hello I
am Darlene Rose Malamute. I live in Galena, Alaska right now. I am going to
school as a Freshman in high school. I first moved here and went to PERS
(Project Education Residential School) but then I transferred out and started school at Galena City High School.
I have lived in Alaska all my life. I was born in Anchorage,
Alaska then moved to my home town Koyukuk, Alaska. I also
lived in Fairbanks for 4 years.
Every summer I go to the small village Koyukuk (my hometown). This is where all my family is located. Some of my summers
I spend time at Bishop Mountain where my dads side
family is during the summer.
I like to play baseball in the summer time and travel around and
play against other teams. I also like to
go swimming and drive around on four-wheeler.
In the winter time I like to drive around on snow-machine. I also like
to travel during this. I like to come to Galena and watch the
high school basketball teams play.
One of the things that I like to do in school, is art where I like
to Draw and
color.
