Hello everybody, as you might already know, my name is Ashley
Burgett. My birth date is on September 1, 1989 and I am 15 years
old. I have lived in Galena, Alaska my whole life, and I am currently a Freshman at Galena City High School.
I like
to play basketball, baseball, and volleyball. I also like to
ride around on snow machine and hang out with my friends and
family.
My
parents are Gary and Judy Burgett. My paternal grandparents are Norman
and Cecelia (Nollner) Burgett of Galena. My maternal grandparents
are Albert and Nora (Pitka) Kangas of Ruby. My father has lived in Galena his whole
life, while my mother lived in
Ruby her whole life, before she moved to Galena to start a family
with my father. My
parents were wed on October 17, 1981. They had 5 children
together. My
siblings are Jennal, Scott, Tina, and Chad Burgett. Jennal is 16
months older than me. She is now 16 years old, and her birth date
was on May 28, 1988, she is now a Junior at Galena City High
School. My brother, Scott's birth date was on June 5, 1985 he is
now 19 years old, and is currently going to college for Instrumentation
at Kenai Peninsula College.
My sister, Tina, is now 22 years old. Her birth date was on June
20, 1982. She is currently living in Fairbanks with her boyfriend,
Daniel Kriska. She is now working at the Fairbanks
International Airport. My oldest brother, Chad, was born on
March 20, 1980. Chad passed away on January 17, 1998 from an
automobile accident at the age of 18. The remainder of my family lives all over
Alaska now, but we still keep in touch.
